2020/21 Festival, Tourism & Sustainable Implementation Program

Note: We are currently approving and actioning all Partner Programs. To date we have in excess of 50 projects that are currently being assisted through our Partner Programs. Expenditure of funds in Partner Programs is contingent on adherence to the Province’s Emergency Orders.

The Festival, Tourism & Sustainable Implementation Programs are designed to help stakeholders who host well-established or regional/emerging festivals, have invested in a new product/experience or sustainable initiative in BruceGreySimcoe.
The initiative must achieve at least one of the following:
1. Improve the quality of the offering.
2. Improve sustainability.
3. Reduce seasonality.
4. Increase visitor yield.
5. Increase length of stay or encourage return visits.

The program includes coaching, education and may provide $1,000 - $5,000 in social media advertising to promote the initiative. To be eligible for funding, you must demonstrate at least a matching investment towards achieving one of the five (5) objectives stated above.

You MUST provide copies of receipts to prove their expenditures with the final report.

Geographic clusters (i.e. downtown, municipality, event centre) are eligible for five (5) approved festivals annually. Each festival can receive $1000-$5,000 in social media ads but each festival must demonstrate (by supplying receipts), how you have invested in the festival.

6 weeks lead time before the festival is REQUIRED.
